About Us
NARSF Programs Ltd. provides a range of innovative health, harm-reduction, and counseling services to individuals, children, youth and families. Over time, we have continued to learn and grow along with our clients and community. We operate a variety of programs with experienced, qualified and professional staff. The majority of services are provided in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
Incepted as Nanaimo and Area Resource Services for Families in 1990, and renamed NARSF Programs Ltd. in 1999, services and programs include Living in Families with Teens (a parent-teen counseling program), the Family Advancement Program (support to families with children who are elementary aged), the Family Therapy Program, Eating Disorders and Sexual Abuse Intervention Program, Mental Health Outreach for children and youth, Transitions Youth Withdrawal and Supportive Residential Program and the CVI Harm Reduction Services for individuals at risk to blood borne diseases. Our services are provided through funding from the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
