What to Expect - An Orientation to NARSF Programs
We believe that everyone who participates in our programs or services is entitled to an orientation and overview about what to expect. At your first session, you will receive information about:
- How the specific program might be of benefit to you
- Your rights and responsibilities;
- Procedures to follow if you are unhappy about the service and/or decisions made
- How input on programs and services will be solicited;
- All of NARSF’s services and activities, expectations, hours of operation, access to the facility and after hours supports, codes of ethics, confidentiality policy, and requirements for follow-up regardless of outcome in the program:
- Our policy regarding smoking, seclusion or restraint, licit and illicit drugs, and weapons;
- rules that identify any restrictions or lead to the loss of personal rights, and the means by which the person may regain those rights
